Concern Growing in Sudan over Attempt to Charge President

Demonstrations are expected in the Sudanese capital Khartoum to protest the decision of the International Criminal Court's (ICC) chief prosecutor to bring war crimes charges against President Omar al-Bashir. As Derek Kilner reports from VOA's East Africa bureau in Nairobi, the announcement has been greeted with concern by many in Sudan, including opposition party leaders and the former southern rebels sharing power in the national government.

A Palestinian rammed a bulldozer into an Israeli commuter bus, cars and pedestrians on one of Jerusalem's busiest streets today, killing at least three people and wounding at least 45 before he was shot dead.

John McCain, argued in a late 1990s sermon that the Nazis had operated on God's behalf to chase the Jews from Europe and shepherd them to Palestine. According to the Reverend, Adolph Hitler was a "hunter," sent by God, who was tasked with expediting God's will of having the Jews re-establish a state of Israel.

Hawiians occupy Iolani Palace

Around Seventy members and supporters from the "the Hawaiian Kingdom Government" occupied the grounds of Iolani Palace on Wednesday, saying the grounds are the property of the "Hawaiian Kingdom." They locked all the gates and barred government workers and the public from entering the area.
