Utah Phillips died last night. Organizer, storyteller, hobo, Wobbly, songwriter, all-round funny guy and amazing performer. Utah (aka Bruce) was a unique presence on the cultural landscape. The younger crowd may remember his two CDs with Ani DiFranco a few years ago.

Utah recorded a terrific radio show there during his last years, which got out to a few community stations around the country.
