He was mocking McCain as a maverick before the Bush administration had rearranged the deck chairs on the Hindenberg. McClellan and Scalia are there too and some not so subtle jabs at the press core for failing to take on the administration. I am still in awe that he prepared the second half of the act despite having fully expected to be yanked from the podium.
