In the 1920s, brutal racism became widespread amongst ordinary Americans, naturally groups like the Ku-Klux-Klan flourished throughout the US. Its membership inflated into millions [1], having around 15% of the eligible voting populations. Racism is built on blind prejudice and hate; it produces double standards and gratuitous violence.
