His indictment charges him with failing to investigate or punish Yugoslav army officers linked to the 1995 murder of 8,000 Bosniak  men, elderly, and children in the U.N. safe haven of Srebrenica in eastern Bosnia, the Sarajevo siege and the May 1995 shelling of the Croatian capital, Zagreb.</p>]]></description>
