<description><![CDATA[Twelve thousand members of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) walked off the job Monday morning, as negotiators for the union and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) broke off talks Sunday night at 9:30 West Coast time, without reaching an agreement.
