NGOs that have been clearly identified as conduits for terrorism have begun to reappear in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Sometimes they change their names. Some of the most extremists NGOs are the already mentioned Saudi Relief Committee, then Global Islamic Relief, International Aid Organization, Egyptian National Aid, Saudi Islamic Committee and the Islamic Institute. All of these organizations are known to anti-terrorism experts.

An additional issue is with the orphans taken to Al-Qaeda%u2019s terrorist camps in Bosnia-Herzegovina. There are videotapeps, testimonies and documentary evidence of this. One example is the case of Ahmed Zuharir, a.k.a. Handala, whose main contacts in B-H are Omer Stambolic of the Federal police and Haris Silajdzic. This terrorist had the official ID card of the organization called %u201CCharitable Community for Orphans,%u201D but who was he? Zuharir, a Sudanese, is a member of the terrorist group %u201CGaama%u2019a al Islamyya,%u201D and a former member of the %u201CEl Mujahid%u201D unit of the %u201CBosnian Army.%u201D He was convicted in absentia by the B-H Federation authorities for a car bombing in western Mostar in September 1997. Other participants in this terrorist attack were Ali Ahmadom al-Hamadom, a.k.a. Ubayda, of Bahrein; naturalized B-H citizen Saleh Negil Ali El-Hil, a.k.a. Abu Yemen; Abdullah ba%u2019Awr, a.k.a. Husayfa; and Kal-al-Sheif, a.k.a. Suleyman.All are suspected associates of Osama bin Laden. Handala was never caught, because the Bosnian Muslim authorities connections to the global Islamic terror network. So, the Bosnian Muslim authorities %u2013 headed by the late Alija Izetbegovic %u2013 entrusted this notorious terrorist with the care of war orphans. Another issue altogether are mujahid%u2019din wives, trained for years in various terrorist camps.

Citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina need help, because they cannot fight against this pestilence alone. One should be careful to differentiate the extremists from the Muslim population in general; one of the extremists%u2019 goals is to foment conflict between all Muslims and modern civilization. This is what the leaders of Al-Qaeda in Kosovo are doing. According to expert information, the top extremists in the area are: Ramush Haradinaj, Hashim Taqi, Ilaz Selimi, Ahmed Krasniqi (Haradinaj%u2019s enemy), Setmir Krasniqi (organized crime) Muxhar Basha, Snu Lumaj, Ismet Bexhet, Remi Mustafa, Nazmi Bekteshi, Xhim**** Osmani, Ramadan Dermaku, Luzim Aliju i Baylush Rustemi. All are connected to imam Omar Behmen. Their funding comes from various sources, but all have in common the Swiss enterprise called %u201CPhoenix,%u201D owned by Qazim Osmonaj. Another man worth mentioning is Abdullah Duhayman, a Saudi citizen, the founder of the %u201CIslamic Balkan Center%u201D Zenica, Bosnia. Duhayman is one of the main contacts and financiers of Ekrem Avdiu of Kosovska Mitrovica, a veteran of the Bosnian war and the founder of UCK%u2019s mujahid%u2019din unit %u201CAbu Bakr Sadeq.%u201D

1990: Islamist Militants Set Up Operations in Bosnia

[Source: History Channel]According to author Richard Labeviere, in this year Talaat Fouad Qassem, a leader of the Egyptian militant group Al-Gama%u2019a al-Islamiyya, is designated by a leaders from different radical militant groups to head up the militant effort in Bosnia. Qassem is living in exile in Denmark and recruits the help of two Algerian militants also living in exile in Europe, Kamer Eddine Kherbane and Abdullah Anas. In future years, the three of them will coordinate all the requests for volunteers from European countries who want to fight in Bosnia. They will send about 2,000 volunteers to camps in Bosnia near the towns of Zenica and Tuzla. Kherbane will directly lead the Tuzla group. [Labeviere, 1999, pp. 73] In 1991, Kherbane will set up a charity front in Croatia that is a branch of Maktab al-Khidamat/Al-Kifah, which is closely tied to al-Qaeda (see 1991 and Early 1990s). In 1995, Qassem will be abducted in Croatia by US forces and killed in Egypt (see September 13, 1995).

1990: FBI Seizes List of Al-Kifah Contacts

At some point in 1990, the FBI seizes a handwritten list of contacts from a top official of the Al-Kifah Refugee Center in Brooklyn. Al-Kifah is a charity front with links to both al-Qaeda and the CIA (see 1986-1993). Little is known about the list, such as when exactly it was seized and why, what was done with it, or whose names are on it, except that a Texas imam named Moataz Al-Hallak is on the list (mention of the list comes from an article about Al-Hallak). The FBI also seizes a different computerized list of Al-Kifah contacts at some point. [Dallas Morning News, 2/19/1999] It will later be alleged that the CIA repeatedly blocked the FBI%u2019s investigations into Al-Kifah (see Late 1980s and After).

July 1990: %u2019Blind Sheikh%u2019 Enters US Despite Being on Terrorist Watch List, Takes Over Al-Kifah

Sheikh Omar Abdul-Rahman.Sheikh Omar Abdul-Rahman. [Source: FBI]Despite being on a US terrorist watch list for three years, radical Muslim leader Sheikh Omar Abdul-Rahman enters the US on a %u201Cmuch-disputed%u201D tourist visa issued by an undercover CIA agent. [Village Voice, 3/30/1993; Atlantic Monthly, 5/1996; Lance, 2003, pp. 42] Abdul-Rahman was heavily involved with the CIA and Pakistani ISI efforts to defeat the Soviets in Afghanistan, and became famous traveling all over the world for five years recruiting new fighters for the Afghan war. The CIA gave him visas to come to the US starting in 1986 (see December 15, 1986-1989) . However, he never hid his prime goals to overthrow the governments of the US and Egypt. [Atlantic Monthly, 5/1996] FBI agent Tommy Corrigan will later say that prior to Abdul-Rahman%u2019s arrival, %u201Cterrorism for all intents and purposes didn%u2019t exist in the United States. But [his] arrival in 1990 really stoke the flames of terrorism in this country. This was a major-league ballplayer in what at the time was a minor-league ballpark. He was%u2026 looked up to worldwide. A mentor to bin Laden, he was involved with the MAK over in Pakistan.%u201D The charity front Maktab al-Khidamat (MAK) is also known as Al-Kifah, and it has a branch in Brooklyn known as the Al-Kifah Refugee Center. The head of that branch, Mustafa Shalabi, picks up Abdul-Rahman at the airport when he first arrives and finds an apartment for him. Abdul-Rahman soon begins preaching at Al Farouq mosque, which is in the same building as the Al-Kifah office, plus two other locals mosques, Abu Bakr and Al Salaam. [Lance, 2006, pp. 53] He quickly turns Al-Kifah into his %u201Cde facto headquarters.%u201D [Atlantic Monthly, 5/1996] He is %u201Cinfamous throughout the Arab world for his alleged role in the assassination of Egyptian president Anwar Sadat.%u201D Abdul-Rahman immediately begins setting up a militant Islamic network in the US. [Village Voice, 3/30/1993] He is believed to have befriended bin Laden while in Afghanistan, and bin Laden secretly pays Abdul-Rahman%u2019s US living expenses. [Atlantic Monthly, 5/1996; ABC News, 8/16/2002] For the next two years, Abdul-Rahman will continue to exit and reenter the US without being stopped or deported, even though he is still on the watch list (see Late October 1990-October 1992).

For some time now, militant Islamic web portal Bosnjaci.net has been engaged in a propaganda campaign against the Serbian people as a whole, and me in person, with the purpose of preventing my appearance at the 11th Congress of European Police, where I am scheduled to speak about a European strategy for combating terrorism. They object to my existence as a Serb, and to the fact that in all of my speeches I make a clear difference between Islamic fundamentalists/mujahedin and Islam as a world religion.

This web portal fabricates stories and spreads dangerous misinformation. It also engages in spreading religious and racial hatred, (see article at http://www.bosnjaci.net/aktuelnosti.php?id=5449&polje=aktuelno , titled %u201DThe Serbocidal Darko Trifunovic, %u2019expert%u2019 for %u2019Euro-terrorism%u2019, belongs behind bars %u201D). This sort of racism and ethnic hatred is a threat to peace and security in Bosnia-Herzegovina and elsewhere.

People behind this Islamic fundamentalist portal have fabricated an email correspondence which they attribute to me, with me allegedly saying I wished all Muslims had been killed: The language and expressions used in this alleged email correspondence do not resemble my vocabulary at all %u2013 quite the contrary, they sound like broken vernacular of Bosnian Muslim migrs. This is obviously the vilest sort of fabrication, with the purpose to agitate the citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Reputable expertss have identified Bosnjaci.net as a web portal spreading ideas closely related to Al-Qaeda (http://www.terrorfinance.org/the_terror_finance_blog/2008/01/bosnjacinet-att.html); attacks on me are in line with known Al-Qaeda media strategy (http://www.terrorfinance.org/the_terror_finance_blog/2007/12/al-qaeda-media.html).

Therefore, this portal and the people associated with it are liable to come under investigation of anti-terrorist law enforcement organizations around the world. Given that this portal also glorifies the mujahedin, Islamic fanatics and war crimes suspects, the FBI has been notified of its operations.

I appeal to all citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina not to believe the lies, fabrications and the ethnic, racial and religious hatred emanating from this web portal..

Muderis’s Friday sermons, available on Bosnian websites, are replete with incitement to violence in Israel, Kashmir, Chechnya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and the Philippines. He preaches the same line on the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq as is heard among the acolytes of terrorist leader Abu Musab al Zarqawi. It is, to say the least, bizarre: “In Falluja, according to statements from the U.S. command, spirits have appeared in the form of enormous spiders, weighing about a kilogram, that only attack U.S. soldiers, and the person who is bitten dies within seconds.”

The Media Committee coordinates with the owners of pro-fundamentalist media and activists inside major media outlets to spread Islamic fundamentalist propaganda. The basic function of this Committee is to justify the activities of Islamic fundamentalists. The main weapon is to claim that Muslims are always and everywhere the exclusive victims of violence. Of course, the truth is completely different, because the Islamic fundamentalists initiate violence for the purpose of establishing the pan-Islamic Ummah, a theocracy that excludes the existence of other religions. For example, in Kosovo-Metohia Islamic extremists among the Kosovo Albanians, with Al-Qaeda%u2019s help, have managed to create a perception that the Albanian majority was endangered by the Serb minority. Thanks to the work of the Media Committee, the secession and terrorism of Islamic fundamentalists among the Kosovo Albanians were presented as a %u201Cstruggle for freedom.%u201D One of the main objectives of the Islamic fundamentalists%u2019 global network is to create a perception in the world public opinion that Muslims are always the victims, in order to justify conflict and conquest. Victim status is thus claimed for Kosovo Albanians, their co-religionists in Kashmir, Palestine, Russia (Chechnya), Sudan, Tanzania, Bosnia, Macedonia, Malaysia, East Timor, etc.

Links between 9/11 and the Al-Qaeda network in Bosnia-Herzegovina

Officials of the Muslim-Croat Federation in B-H never released any information to the US investigators or lawyers representing the families of 9/11 victims, because such information would cast a new light on the entire B-H conflict. They would have made it obvious that the war was a jihad, a religious war waged against Bosnia%u2019s Christians by the Islamic extremists.

The Interpol office in Wiesbaden, Germany sent a request to the Bosnian authorities on 18 September 2001 to verify the identity of a certain Mr. Atta, who according to their information used to reside in the hamlet of Bakoti%u0107, 8 km outside Maglaj, in 1999. Attached to the request was the photo of Mohamed Atta, and a note to verify it through a certain Mehmed Hasani%u0107, a resident of Bakoti%u0107. This means Mohamed Atta was trained in B-H; it is known that he left B-H for Hamburg, from where he proceeded to the United States and his ultimate mission %u2013 to destroy the Twin Towers.
