Cheney Fan Club Member Jonah Goldberg: ‘It’s A Sign Of Integrity That Cheney Doesn’t Care’ In yesterday’s Los Angeles Times, National Review editor Jonah Goldberg wrote, “I’m a longtime member of a pretty select group: the Dick Cheney Fan Club.” Goldberg appeared on MSNBC with Tucker Carlson to discuss his membership in this exclusive club and to explain the traits in Cheney that he found worthy of admiration. “[Dick Cheney] just does not care. I think it’s a sign of ch

Media wakes up to Bush abuses

      Posted by theangryindian

The so-called 'conspiracy' and alternative news sites have been cataloguing for more than four years that President Bush, through a series of signing statements, and fine-tuning of authoritarian fine print, has been removing both himself and Vice President, Dick Cheney, from the circles of accountability that Congress, and the American people, usually demand and expect from those who occupy office space in the White House. Slowly, almost reluctantly, the mainstream American media has finally

US soldier killed in firefight at peace meeting

      Posted by theangryindian from Angryindian.blogspot

An American soldier was killed inside Pakistan yesterday after an attempted peace meeting on one of the world’s most sensitive borders erupted in gunfire. Several other Nato troops were wounded amid sensational claims that Pakistani forces were responsible. Pakistan said that one of its troops also died in the clash, but blamed militants for the shooting. The meeting had been convened after two days of skirmishes across the border with Afghanistan left 13 dead. US and Afghan forces had t

Administration figures go on the attack

      Posted by theangryindian from Angryindian.blogspot

It's funny, ennit? The happily go-lucky Dominionist folks who gave you 911, Afghanistan and the sunshine democratic state of Iraq are behaving like members of an organised criminal organisation aren't they? One after another are stabbing at each other in the media following George Tenet's hawking of his new book on the morning chat shows. The entire American intelligence community is sorting itself out into camps either loyal to the president or just the other thing. Adding to this tension is th

Inteligentaindigena Indigenismo : Real Truth Online: Vincent Bugliosi Wants Bush Charged with Murder

Bugliosi is no Shakespear, he writes as though he is addressing a jury. And he is… us. However, Geogre Bush’s deeds speak for themselves for the most part, all Bugliosi has to do is lay them out. And he does…clearly.

Let us hope that there are some attorneys out there that still have some faith in the legal system and will work to prove Bugliosi’s case true or false.

Judge: Saudi threats apparently 'rolled over' British government

I also listen to Malloy and he does not report on nearly as much alternative news as we do here or I do on my own Indigenist newsblog. Raw Story and Common Dreams seems to be his main alt-news sources. I’m not sure how much he knows about portals like ours. Drop him a line, maybe he’ll give us a look-see.

Pretty amazing story. I heard about this on Mike Malloy last night.

He always complains about the lack of a free press – but hey, we’re here sharing stories like this!
