  The pious outrage Thursday over heiress Paris Hilton’s “early release” from jail in Los Angeles, accusations of “special treatment” and the vindictive demands that she receive “justice,” i.e., punishment, have nothing healthy or progressive about them—as the images of Hilton being taken in handcuffs to court Friday morning and from there, sobbing, back to prison should indicate.

y shouldnt paris do the time in her tiny cell.she did the crime so she should do the time..wats it sayin to her younger fans? if ur rich u can get away with anything..um not true paris,money means nothin..if we did it we would have to do the time plus more so get over it do ya time n in no time ull be out n back to ur stupid life style..

Look, if they’re gonna say they take DUI?DWI infractions seriously…then they have no choice but to keep her in jail. It sends a clear message that they won’t be tolerating this from anyone.
