Crooks and Liars » Bong Hits For Jesus

Posted by theangryindian from Crooks and Liars

The phrase doesn’t make any sense, and it wasn’t supposed to. 18 year old high school senior Joseph Frederick unfurled the 14 foot banner on a public sidewalk across the street from the high school during a non-school event. High school administrator Deborah Morse confiscated the banner and suspended Frederick for “advocating drug use” evidently in view of other high school students.

Media wakes up to Bush abuses

      Posted by theangryindian

The so-called 'conspiracy' and alternative news sites have been cataloguing for more than four years that President Bush, through a series of signing statements, and fine-tuning of authoritarian fine print, has been removing both himself and Vice President, Dick Cheney, from the circles of accountability that Congress, and the American people, usually demand and expect from those who occupy office space in the White House. Mercenary Outfit Send Mass Email Offering Positions in the Wake of Gustav

One of the many tragedies of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina three years ago was the fact that insurance companies used the event to systematically deny claims, leaving victims further in desperate straits. That shouldn’t happen following any natural disaster, and even though the immediate storm effects did not cause as much damage as predicted, there are sure to be plenty of claims for flood damages throughout the Midwest and along Gustav’s path. If you or someone you know has been denied an insurance claim related to Gustav: http://www.gustav-insurance-claim-denials.com/ that would be a site you should visit.
