    • TODAY'S ZAMAN: Turkey plans to Invade Iraq

      The leaves of military personnel have been canceled and additional forces have been deployed to the border with Iraq as the military apparently prepares for an operation against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). The measures come amid frustration with US inactivity against the PKK and the expected infiltration of PKK militants from their mountain bases in northern Iraq with the arrival of spring.

      Iraq's al-Maliki fears political coup from Bush administration

      In the latest leak from Baghdad, U.S. appointed Iraqi President al-Maliki has again expressed fears that he is next on the list for American-led regime change in Western Asia. Al-Maliki would be in the position of handing over Iraq's future to firms such as Halliburton which is actually moving soon to Dubai in Saudi Arabia, the home of several of the 911 hijackers and the birthplace of Osama Bin-Laden.

    • Scientists paid to trash climate study

      Much attention at the end of last week on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report which predicted dire consequences of heat waves, cyclones, droughts, rising seas, if the world failed to act quickly. Now we discover the Exxon Mobil funded think tank, the American Enterprise Institute has been bribing scientists to say it isn't so.
