    • Green movement getting a blue-chip hue

Posted by Shemuses from Globe and Mail

Increasingly, executives are supporting environmental initiatives at the micro level in their own organizations, and pushing for more stringent standards from government. It's no longer a safe assumption that corporate executives are conservative when it comes to environmental initiatives.

Posted by Shemuses from Globe and Mail

    • Mild weather makes some rethink Canada's identity

Posted by Shemuses from Globe and Mail

Canada's typically harsh winter weather continued to spare most of the country over the weekend as mild conditions prevailed instead of the snow and deep freeze many expect at the start of January. Canada to seek climate deal with Obama

This sounds like a good news story but iin reallity the Canadian government wants to secure concessions for that massive greenhous gas emmitter called the tar sands. They want to play America’s energy security worries off of climate change to ensure that the growth of the oil sands can continue unabated under supposedly tighter carbon emmissions restrictions.

    The Culture of Meat

A humanity that would domesticate is not healthy.  Exploitation and slavery come to mind, as well as torture.  Given all the information available about the harms of animal products on the human body I am flabbergasted that people accept this ‘meat washing’.

    incorrect overdose of simple proteins

no animal that eats meat naturally has to cook it

    intestine inflammation

    reduced energy and fatigue

Maybe because I have never eaten it and observed the effects on others that I take this no intentional harm abuse or consumption of life stance.  good book: Eternal Treblinka
