Venezuela turning to China makes perfect sense. Soon, many countries will understand that, and realize that China is the next empire on the horizon. This will become a huge problem for The American Hyperpower. Already we can see beginnings of this happening. America is losing support for its one sided Foreign Policy approach. America is planting the seeds that will one day grow to eclipse American power. The decline will not be civil and orderly. As with most empires, as they implode, they start thrashing and screaming. They usually do anything to keep its citizenry from realizing what is going on, usually becoming more oppressive and restrictive.
