      Peter Goldmark, a rancher from Eastern Washington will oppose incumbent Doug Sutherland for the extremely important position of Commissioner for Public Lands. Sutherland has adopted a policy of balancing egregious giveaways to the timber industry with a fleecing of public resource and a siphoning of public money from health care and education.

      I'm Traveling Pole To Pole To Save The Planet

      I am Jon Earle, 28, a New Zealander and an active member of the Pole to Pole Leadership Institute, a non-profit organization devoted to inspiring, empowering and training youth to address the critical issues of our time. Right now we’re preparing for the second Pole to Pole journey. The first expedition was run in 2000 which would travel from the North to the South Pole via the Americas, stopping off at different environmental conservation and humanitarian projects along the way.

Many animals suffer prolonged, painful deaths when they are injured but not killed by hunters. Here's a dramatic expose of this so called "sport."
