      Senator Specter Fights for Constitution

      Posted by statusquobuster from OpEdNews

Republican Senator Arlen Specter showed his respect for the U.S. Constitution and his anger about President Bush’s repeated pissing on it by introducing the Presidential Signing Statements Act of 2007. What happens to this crucial bill will test both congressional integrity and courage.

    • Thanks for Dick Cheney

      Posted by statusquobuster from OpEdNews

Dick Cheney is the leading practitioner of the ends-justify-the-means mentality, where only his vision of the desired ends counts. Serving corporate interests rather than serving the people is Cheney’s brand of patriotism. Our Constitution should not allow the government to make us victims and our nation hated by so much of the world. That’s what Cheney should teach us. Now, it’s up to us.

America was given a representative democracy within a constitutional republic where laws that protect all people trump majority rule. Illegal Immigration Spurs Constitutional Amendment - Associated Content

An art. V was tried in Sept. of 2004, and s.c.o.t.u.s. ruled it was ok for the congress to not allow it…so, the entire Congress was sued, and hired the Govt. to defend them..they again lost.

However, it has now proved to be a criminal act ,in that they had basically admitted to it by defending themselves…...

It appears now that there are a few new approaches to the Art. V , but not to many Attny’s are willing to stick their necks out fighting our own CROOKED govt.

please read the article on WALKER vs theU.S….probably find it in google….

Didn’t Specter allow Alito and Roberts to get confirmed? They are trouncing democracy on the Supreme Court decision by decision!
