      Today, however, there are no economic populists on the court, even on the liberal wing. And ever since John Roberts was appointed chief justice in 2005, the court has seemed only more receptive to business concerns. Forty percent of the cases the court heard last term involved business interests, up from around 30 percent in recent years.

      No matter how much funding these corporations give to Football Association’s, there will always be opposition to their involvement. At a time when the UK government are starting to place restrictions on junk food advertising to children, it would be nice to think that we could start putting health before profits. However, with FIFA endorsing branded lighters and ashtrays amongst their merchandise, it seems that money still has the final word.
