      They decided to electronically connect Castaway's habitat with a lagoon at Dolphins Plus, a research and interactive educational facility a few miles down the Keys Overseas Highway. Underwater speakers and microphones were installed at both locations and connected via phone lines. Castaway should deliver her calf in about a month.

      I liked a lot of what I saw today: The Colts again slowed their offense down to give their defense time to rest. Manning was fantastic - including a big scary rushing touchdown. Dallas Clark was back and he made a few amazing plays. Harrison was hot as usual. The defense was quicker than in recent weeks but gave up 115 yds rushing to weak Miami.

      The highly endangered Indus river dolphin has dramatically increased in numbers in a small section of the Indus in Pakistan but the animals remain very rare and in grave danger, a scientist said on Wednesday. The unique, blind dolphin is one of the world's four freshwater dolphin species, and one of its rarest mammals.

      Hundreds of dead bottleneck dolphins washed up Friday along the shore of a popular tourist destination on Zanzibar's northern coast, and scientists ruled out poisoning. It was not immediately clear what killed the 400 dolphins, whose carcasses were strewn along a 2.5-mile stretch of Nungwi, said Narriman Jidawi, a marine biologist at the Institute of Marine Science in Zanzibar.
