  Exxon builds fake penguin video to spoof Gore's Inconvenient Truth. You'd think when you're making $55,000 per minute you could care less about the opposition. I guess they are really scared of climate change policy shifts in public opinion.

  "Exxon Mobil is making a massive bet with shareholders' money that the world's addiction to oil will not abate for decades," Connecticut state treasurer Denise Nappier said in a statement. "As investors, we are concerned that Exxon Mobil is not sufficiently preparing for 'tomorrow's energy' and runs the risk of lagging significantly behind its rivals."

  The NPR coverage of this story was terrible. No medical health expert was interviewed. "Some residents voiced concerns that the company wasn’t telling them all it knew about the incident. One resident said a relative who works in the petrochemical industry told her that the PGO substance contains benzene, a known carcinogen."
