      US troops fighting in Iraq will have to do so with at least 1,000 fewer special armored vehicles, says the Pentagon, due to the amount of the time required for shipment. Reuters reports on Wednesday that Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell announced that the Defense Department expected defense contractors to produce 3,900 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles this year.
