It seems there has been a recent interest in associating climate change/global warming with “over population” and that countries such as China and India have to do more to help contain global warming.

    • The SOX debate and global capital

Despite warnings that that US financial markets face a dire future if Sarbanes-Oxley isn’t fixed, SarbOx remains popular with investors. They say it’s produced more reliable financial statements and fuller disclosure. And the evidence suggests that winding SOX back won’t help US financial markets.

    • Sustainability reporting: carrots and sticks

      Posted by SoxFirst

Once dismissed as fuzzy and meaningless work from greenies, sustainability reporting seems to be gaining some traction in boardrooms with the release of the latest Global Reporting Initiative. The new G3 guidelines have the support of business leaders who are calling on their peers to adopt them.

Mercenary Outfit Send Mass Email Offering Positions in the Wake of Gustav

One of the many tragedies of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina three years ago was the fact that insurance companies used the event to systematically deny claims, leaving victims further in desperate straits. That shouldn’t happen following any natural disaster, and even though the immediate storm effects did not cause as much damage as predicted, there are sure to be plenty of claims for flood damages throughout the Midwest and along Gustav’s path. If you or someone you know has been denied an insurance claim related to Gustav: http://www.gustav-insurance-claim-denials.com/ that would be a site you should visit.

Boil Them In Big Oil? Let’s Start With You! : Conservative Politics Today

The old saying is still true. "Figures don’t lie, but liars can figure."  Move to hydrocarbon free energy ? Great idea !  Build "green" homes ? Another great idea. Build a religion around blaming human activity for global warming ? Not so good.  The man behind the curtain will always be exposed.

GM's Bob Lutz: global warming "still a crock"

Umm. Have you ever heard of this thing they call “Science”? There are no credible scientists anywhere on the planet who doubt the findings of the IPCC. Bob Lutz clearly is not a scientist, and clearly doesn’t know **** from shinola.

GM's Bob Lutz: global warming "still a crock"

Although I wouldn’t use foul language to express my view on global warming, Mr. Bob Lutz of GM is correct in his statement. Nevertheless, I believe the earth warms and cools, but it is neither our fault nor can we prevent it. We need clear air, and we’ve had it for some time now, but perfect air to breath will never happen!
Perhaps, in another 25 years we will need global warming, because the earth will cool again as it has done so in the past. Our leaders will still be hung on global warming, and we won’t be able to stop all the money from flowing to it, because ‘global warming’ isn’t about the earth heating up, it’s about ‘the powers that be’; to be in control of the populous, and leveling the world economies.
When the people are convinced they are doing something good, it’s all but imposible to turn their momentum around, and our leadship will lead America into the abiss of financial doom. All this will create a one world government over a poor people, which mostly will be accepted because we believed we were doing something good.

Once a snowball like this heads downhill, it can’t be stopped!
