    • Climate Change Seen as Threat to the Poorest

Posted by Damianmann from Truth Out

Mexico City - Droughts, floods, changing rain patterns, and rising sea levels are threatening development in the world's poorest countries, specialists and aid workers said yesterday at an international water forum. Regions including Africa and South Asia - home to most of the 1.1 billion people who live without clean water - will be among the hardest hit by changing weather patterns, specialists at the Fourth World Water Forum said. They blamed the threats largely on changes in the global climate.

That is horrible. They actually encourage people to kill future president? That is horrible. They should be charged for inciting terrorism.

    Gobal warming insurance premiums

One of the many tragedies of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina three years ago was the fact that insurance companies used the event to systematically deny claims, leaving victims further in desperate straits. That shouldn’t happen following any natural disaster, and even though the immediate storm effects did not cause as much damage as predicted, there are sure to be plenty of claims for flood damages throughout the Midwest and along Gustav’s path. If you or someone you know has been denied an insurance claim related to Gustav: that would be a site you should visit.

GM's Bob Lutz: global warming "still a crock"

Umm. Have you ever heard of this thing they call “Science”? There are no credible scientists anywhere on the planet who doubt the findings of the IPCC. Bob Lutz clearly is not a scientist, and clearly doesn’t know **** from shinola.
