    • Hillary Prods Bush to Go After Iran

      Posted by Damianmann from Consortiumnews

Hillary Clinton and 75 other senators apparently feel that George W. Bush hasn't been belligerent enough toward Iran. They want him to hurry up and label a large part of Iran's army an international "terrorist" entity for allegedly supplying Iraqi insurgents with bombs that have killed American troops.

    • What Women See When They See Hillary

      Posted by Jeff from Feeds.feedburner

"Many of the very same feminists who were her most ardent supporters as First Lady are now fiercely opposed to her historic bid to become the first female president of the United States," reports Lakshmi Chaudhry, who asks, "What's up with the Hillary-bashing?"

Novak: Dem insiders flocking to Obama

      Posted by Jeff from Jazz-from-hell.blogspot

...Sen. Hillary Clinton, whom Novak accidentally identifies as a Republican, "never looked better physically," he writes. "She is slow-walking her way toward the nomination, which is often a path leading to defeat." Why defeat?

    • The Lady Vanishes: Books: The New Yorker

Posted by Damianmann from New Yorker

As soon as Clinton indicated that she was going to run for President, it was inevitable that books like Bernstein’s and Gerth and Van Natta’s would appear. It was also inevitable that, whether or not anything truly new was revealed, other journalists would use these volumes as an excuse to trot out their own favorite Clinton stories—the billing records, the name changes, the absurd extravaganza on the Moynihan farm, and, oh, have I mentioned “I’ve always been a Yankees fan”?

    • CodyLyon'sblogolater: Politics Verses True Moral Leadership

      Posted by Villagenyc

To delve into the roots and definitions of morality would take hours, but there is no doubt, that over time, American’s views on what is moral and immoral has evolved. Many of these evolutions have resulted in elimination of policy and socially acceptable practices that enslaved, denied, separated and even paid less for the same labor, all which at one time or another, was justified by codes of conduct rooted in society’s interpretation of morality.

Clinton backs Obama and bows out

Whew. She made me nervous there for a while. If she became president I would have became Austrailian.

    Clinton to Endorse Obama

And yet, there will continue to be a large number of her votership claiming to speak for everyone when they insist they’ll never vote for that "empty suit"/"inadequate black man"/"socialist" – no matter how much reconciling she does now (which I honestly doubt will be much).

Bill Clinton lost the majority of these same states in the primary. he won them in the general. It’s nothing to sweat.

Arianna Huffington: Hillary Clinton's Defeat: A Historic Triumph

The kind of intellectual dishonesty she and Bill have used – as well as other surrogates – has been bad politics. Ineffective – and alienating except to their base. Very Rovian.

Arianna Huffington: Hillary Clinton's Defeat: A Historic Triumph

The intellectual dishonesty that has plagued the Clinton team over the past three months is disgusting and has confirmed all my worst fears about her as a candidate. That said, her campaign has been historic and inspirational. It’s just sad because even in defeat, it could have been so much more.
