      "Seattle 13 FOX television news has just reported that former lawyer and Director of Public Affairs for the U.S. Department of Justice has just been granted immunity by the very same panel AG Gonzales said 'I can't recall,' or similar statements more than 100 times.

      Such a grant of immunity, which would require the approval of two-thirds of the nearly 40-member panel, would free Goodling to speak about the plan to fire the U.S. attorneys and the dismissals' aftermath, without fear that prosecutors could use her testimony in a criminal proceeding.
