      End the Bush-Cheney Junta

Posted by ptristam from Pierre Tristam

While he was publicly renouncing torture, Bush was secretly ordering the CIA interrogators to brutalize prisoners all they wished. Congress wants to see those secret memos justifying the policy. The question is: Why isn’t Congress asking for Bush’s head?

      The Logic of Impeachment.

      Posted by Damianmann from Consortiumnews

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has taken impeachment “off the table,” in line with Official Washington’s view that trying to oust George W. Bush and Dick Cheney would be an unpleasant waste of time. But there is emerging a compelling logic that an unprecedented dual impeachment might be vital to the future of the United States.

      Posted by Damianmann from Consortiumnews

Last week’s four-part Washington Post feature on Vice President Dick Cheney removed any doubt in my mind as to whether he and President George W. Bush have committed the kinds of high crimes and misdemeanors that warrant impeachment.

Posted by Damianmann from Truth Out

The realities of the Iraq War cry out for the overthrow of a government that is criminally responsible for death, mutilation, torture, humiliation, chaos. But all we hear in the nation's capital, which is the source of those catastrophes, is a whimper from the Democratic Party, muttering and nattering about "unity" and "bipartisanship," in a situat

George W. Bush's Disapproval Rating Now Tops Richard Nixon's

    Ironic..

First credible Black/African American running for president (not my opinion)

    First Women running for president

"no President has ever been this unpopular"

First elderly president 70 running for president

We can stipulate his rating is low.  We allowed him to talk us into finishing what Bush Sr. started. Get Saddam out of power and watch him hang (I’m sure he watched the youtube video). He will be remember for that and if he’s the Sociopath most think he is, that’s all he cares about. Having a approval rating that now tops Nixon’s means what. He doesn’t care if you like him.

Dick Cheney Inc. Micromanaged and Orchestrated Torture Interrogations | BuzzFlash.org

tiger-I agree totally, but if our elected reps in D.C. won’t move to impeach over a treasonous act such as outing a CIA operative, this latest revelation will wind up being swept aside by the corporate media for more up-to-the-minute report on "American Idol". Sad, isn’t it?-watching what once was considered the greatest country on the face of the planet; sink to the depth of a local banana republic. Hey cheer up, can’t wait til next weeks revelation of corruption within this Bush Cabal reaches the light of day!!!!!!

Come on, Obama, and Clinton, and Edwards, and Pelosi: All Aboard the Impeachment Train | The Progres

They still have to get 17 Republicans, if I’m not mistaken, to go for it. That’s a tough nut to crack.
