  Just last week a couple of people were complaining to me about the iTunes store slow speed: "Frazzled users began posting urgent help messages Monday and Tuesday on Apple's technical forum for iTunes, complaining they were either not allowed into the store or were told the system couldn't process their request to download songs and videos."

  Comparing iTunes and Democracy Player is a bit like comparing apples and oranges (I guess Democracy would be the oranges). iTunes is a music player first and Democracy Player is a video player first.

  I'd be pretty psyched to dump my cable provider if I could just get South Park and Daily Show for a more reasonable price. iTunes is still a bit pricey.

I couldn't find any information about an all-you-can-eat model. It would certainly be groundbreaking if that were the case. I've been saying for _years_ that a subcription model would be the killer service. Just like the way the radio works today, only time-shifted.
