      “Returns have been positive for 6 straight months and 11 out of the last 12 months,” he noted. “Also, in recent years, it appears that fourth-quarter rallies have taken a lot of the steam out of the traditional January effect, and as such we would not be surprised to see a correction” in the first quarter.
