Posted by Billbar from Washington Post

The corruption investigation of Rep. William J. Jefferson (D-La.) has uncovered ties to Atiku Abubakar, the vice president of Nigeria. Jefferson, who was a member of a House Ways and Means trade subcommittee, got to know Abubakar after the Nigerian was elected vice president in 1999.
