    • A President Like My Father by Caroline Kennedy

Posted by Damianmann from New York Times

OVER the years, I’ve been deeply moved by the people who’ve told me they wished they could feel inspired and hopeful about America the way people did when my father was president. This sense is even more profound today. That is why I am supporting a presidential candidate in the Democratic primaries, Barack Obama.

    • JFK Spied on Journalists with the CIA Too

      Posted by Jeff

The degree to which senior officials were involved in authorizing the spying is powerfully evident in tape recordings of White House meetings led by President John F. Kennedy on Aug. 1, 1962, and Aug. 22, 1962. In the first session, Kennedy approves a plan proposed by two advisers, James R. Killian Jr. and Clark Clifford, to establish a special investigative group to spy on reporters.

    • Will the Next Election Be Hacked?

      Posted by Jeff from Slashdot

Kennedy's reporting is bolstered by the accounts of a Diebold insider who has gone on record with his concerns. From the article: 'Chris Hood remembers the day in August 2002 that he began to question what was really going on in Georgia... "It was an unauthorized patch, and they were trying to keep it secret from the state," Hood told me. "We were told not to talk to county personnel about it. I received instructions directly from [president of Diebold election unit Bob] Urosevich...' According to Hood, Diebold employees altered software in some 5,000 machines in DeKalb and Fulton counties, the state's largest Democratic strongholds. The tally in Georgia that November surprised even the most seasoned political observers.

      Posted by Billbar from Rawstory

His remarks came during the keynote address at the ABA's Annual meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii. "We are at another turning point in the history of the law," Kennedy remarked. Discussing the importance of an independent judiciary, Kennedy added, "I sense a slight foreboding, I sense that we are not making the case as well as we ought."

But, you’re speaking as if you’re speaking for all of the american people…which is far from the truth.

Admittedly, endorsements don’t mean much. But, this is a news site and we post news stories. This happens to be a big one.

As for opinions, I was referring to the saying, “opinions are like a-holes. Everyone has one.”

WHO CARES WHO CAROLINE KENNEDY ENDORSES? AND EDWARD KENNEDY IS THE KIND OF DIVIDER HE CRITICIZES IN OTHERS, HE IS STRICTLY YESTERDAY’S NEWS. THE KENNEDY FAMILY HAS NO RIGHT TO “PASS THE TORCH” OF THE AMERICAN PRESIDENCY. THEY DO NOT OWN THIS COUNTRY. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE THE ONES WHO WILL “PASS THE TORCH”.
