    • Computer expert denies knowledge of ‘04 vote rigging in Ohio

      Posted by Jeff

A Republican computer consultant denied under oath Monday that he knew of any GOP effort to steal the 2004 election for President Bush by rigging Ohio's vote totals, an attorney who questioned him said. A federal judge on Friday ordered Michael Connell, whose firms had consulting contracts with Bush's campaign and with the Ohio secretary of state's office in 2004, to submit to a limited, closed-door deposition in a suit alleging schemes to fix the vote.

    • Network Hosting Attorney Scandal E-Mails Also Hosted Ohio's 2004 Election Results

      Posted by Jeff from Alternet

Article alleges RNC posted fake voter totals from Ohio on election night 2004: Moreover, it appears the votes that gave Bush his 118,775-vote margin of victory -- the boost from Ohio's countryside -- have yet to be confirmed as accurate. Instead, the reporting to date suggests that what happened on the ground and across Ohio's rural precincts is at odds with the vote tally released on Election Night.

    • Bush bypasses Senate to name ambassador

Posted by Jeff from Yahoo News!

"It's sad but not surprising that this White House would abuse the power of the presidency to reward a donor over the objections of the Senate," Kerry said in a statement. Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., a member of the Foreign Relations Committee, said he plans to ask the Government Accountability Office to issue an opinion on whether the recess appointment is legal.

    • A Conversation With John Kerry

Posted by Billbar from Washington Post

In the months before the 2004 presidential election, The Washington Post's Bob Woodward sought to interview Sen. John F. Kerry, the Democratic nominee, about how he might have conducted foreign policy in the 18 months between Sept. 11, 2001, and the invasion of Iraq in March 2003. Kerry declined the interview at the time. More than a year later, on March 7, Kerry agreed to be interviewed by Woodward and answer the 22 questions. Below is an edited version of their two-hour conversation .

With Eye On 2008, Kerry Goes After Bush

Posted by Billbar from Washington Post

Kerry spoke to an audience that included many of the activists who helped propel him to the nomination two years ago. But after Bush's victory, many of them are decidedly cooler to a Kerry presidential campaign in 2008. The University of New Hampshire released a survey Thursday of presidential preferences in the Granite State. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.) led the field of Democrats with 30 percent, followed by former senator John Edwards (N.C.) at 16 percent and former vice president Al Gore at 10 percent. Kerry ranked fourth with 9 percent. "I'm very encouraged," he said in an interview a few hours before his speech. "I know what the conventional wisdom is, and it's had a good record of being wrong."

I like the guy, he’s trying to expose a very corrupt system in a public way. Good thing the pre-trial electrocution was not fatal. Go get ‘em and make ‘em pay!
