  Most libertarians work so hard on maintaining their ideological purity that they are largely irrelevant. But in the process of screaming at everyone over taxes and wealth redistribution, supposed market solutions to externalities, and freedom, they keep the rest of us honest.

  The state's "monopoly of deadly force" means that we hang a man who kills in order to steal a wallet but throw a parade for a leader who successfully kills 500,000 in order to steal the resources of another land. Whether it's for land, gold, diamonds or oil, there's nothing new about using state violence to rob others of their wealth.

  August 14, 1765 marked the founding of a revolutionary secret society made up of individuals whose actions would be echoes in the quote by Margaret Mead, "A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Remember and celebrate the Boston Tea Party on December 16th.

  Diebold is just down the street from the Library where Mrs. Blankenship sent to vote and where the X did not mark the spot she chose but that of the Republican she very much wanted out of office. What is a retired school teacher to do when her vote is being stolen before her eyes? Mrs. Blankenship took action.

  Now that we are not protected by the 4th Amendment the accusation of being a terrorist is ever more frightening. Philip Smart in Ellis County, Texas started out to clean up local corruption. He has been accused and incarcerated without charge. Who will be next?

  Libertarians have a reputation of being dedicated and focused activists who tend to be community leaders to begin with, who leverage their influence with attention getting ideas supported by quiet coalitions with a wide array of groups. And it would make the Libertarian Party of Florida, or LPF, say observers, not only the largest civic action network in the State, but one of the strongest in the country. It would in effect make it a Libertarian community or city spread through the State.
