      Lieberman to head pro-McCain ‘organization’

Posted by Jeff from Crooks and Liars

It's hard not to get the sense that Joe Lieberman is just taunting Dems at this point. Lieberman doesn't want to just burn the bridge to the ground, he wants to pour salt in the earth around the wreckage. Wednesday, Lieberman joined a conference call coordinated by a right-wing House member to bash Barack Obama. Yesterday, he announced ...

    • We Don't Know This Sen. Joe

      Posted by Jeff from theday.com

Rather than building the bridges The Day expected when it endorsed Sen. Lieberman, he appears busy burning bridges with the party of which he is allegedly still a member. Perhaps the senator is positioning himself for a top cabinet post in a McCain presidency. But if the Democrats prevail, and enlarge their control of the Senate, it is hard to imagine this Connecticut senator being welcomed back with open arms.

    • Lieberman, DeLay Are Ready for the Rapture

Posted by Jeff from Huffington Post

In the end, all the non-believers - Jews, Muslims, Hindus, mainline Christians, etc. - must convert or suffer the torture of eternal damnation. Over a dozen CUFI members eagerly revealed to me their excitement at the prospect of Armageddon occurring tomorrow. Among the rapture ready was Republican Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay. Lieberman was there too.

Lieberman 'won't rule out' switch to Republicans

      Posted by Jeff from Rawstory

Lieberman is such a complete wad: "I wouldn't rule [a switch to the GOP] out," Leiberman says to O'Donnell, adding that "my real hope here is to stay and fight for the kind of Democratic Party I joined when John F. Kennedy was president." He also says that he could support a Republican pro-war presidential candidate.

    • Lieberman: We can face Iran alone

Posted by Kathy from Jerusalem Post

To think that this man almost became Vice President .... maybe he was pandering to his audience .... but if so, he (and the other politicians out there) better understand that THOSE days are over.

Democrats May Kick Out Joe Lieberman If He Addresses The Republican National Convention

Addressing the Republican convention would be in the true spirit of "reaching across the aisle"...  republicans have been doing it for years and it would be a welcome change.

About time.  After the ‘08 elections, we won’t need Joe anymore.   If the Republicans can stand him, they can have him.

    Daily Show lampoons Lieberman run

IT IS NO SECRET THAT LIEBERMAN HAS AN "ISRAEL FIRST" AGENDA AND THAT HE HAS NO PROBLEM LETTING THE AMERICAN SOLDIERS DIE AND THE U.S. SPEND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN IRAQ  BECAUSE THEN ISRAEL DOESN’T HAVE TO.  I CAN’T BELIEVE THE GOOD AND DIGNIFIED PEOPLE OF CONNECTICUT CONTINUE TO ALLOW THIS NASAL WHINING CREEP TO PUSH THIS AWFUL ILLEGAL WAR IN IRAQ TO MAKE ISRAEL FEEL SAFER AND TO LET AMERICA’S YOUNG SOLDIERS DIE  WHILE ISREAL SPENDS NOTHING, SACRIFICES NONE OF THEIR OWN AND, AS USUAL, TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE U.S.’S WILLINGNESS TO HELP "PROTECT" THEM.  AS FAR AS I’M CONCERNED  JOE LIEBERMAN IS A TRAITOR  TO AMERICA AND SHOULD MOVE TO ISRAEL AND TRY TO SERVE ISRAEL THERE INSTEAD OF USING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND RESOURCES TO DO IT HERE WHILE HE TRIES TO PASS HIMSELF OFF AS AN AMERICAN AND A PATRIOT.   HE IS NEITHER.  I DETEST HIS PRESENCE IN WASHINGTON D.C.  AND CAN’T BEAR TO LOOK AT HIM ON TV MUCH LESS LISTEN TO THE SOUND OF HIS NASALLY,  WHINY, THROATY  ANNOYING LITTLE VOICE.

    Lieberman's Lead Growing in Conn.

I just don’t get it – there is still something seriously wrong with the electorate to favor Lieberman given his support of Bush and the Iraq war.

    Lamont Defeats Lieberman in Primary

I doubt Lieberman has the class to get out. But he'll be browbeat out in the next few days, I'm sure.
