      Tolo, a private TV channel, reported a claim by Shahbuddin Atal, a purported spokesman for Taliban regional commander south Mullah Dadullah, that the militants beheaded Naqshbandi after the government failed to release two Taliban commanders. The report was not independently confirmed.
