    • Vet Advocates Fight for New G.I. Bill

      Posted by okami from Military

It's a program that meant a college degree for millions who wouldn't previously have been able to afford one, and its advocates say the benefit helped make the "greatest generation" what it is today. But the World War II veterans who took advantage of the G.I. Bill of Rights to gain a college education got a lot more out of the deal than today's vets, say advocates and some key lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

Posted by Jeff from Daily Mail

American military chiefs have been left dumbstruck by an undetected Chinese submarine popping up at the heart of a recent Pacific exercise and close to the vast U.S.S. Local Opponents have say on Navy's dolphin patrol plan

“The bill would create a temporary fast-track process for Oregon, Washington and the four Columbia River treaty tribes to get permits to kill a limited number of the sea lions when nonlethal harassment has failed.”

So the message is clear, join the Navy or risk being shot! And stop snacking.
