    • Lessons from North Korea for Middle East

Posted by Damianmann from Arab News

      Posted by Jeff from MSNBC

It's going to be interesting to see if this is actually a Bush diplomacy first and a solid step forward or whether Kim Jong Il is just yanking the Bush Administration along on a wild goose chase knowing its popularity is at a low around the world.

    • U.N. Council imposes harsh sanctions on N. Korea

      Posted by Billbar from Reuters

It requires all countries to prevent the sale or transfer of materials related to Pyongyang's unconventional weapons programs. And the resolution demands nations freeze funds overseas of people or businesses connected with North Korea's nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

This all begs the real question: Did our satellites detect gamma radiation from the blast? That’s how we did this during the Cold War.

The bomb-grade plutonium that was on ice from 1994 to 2002 is now actual bombs.
