    • Joe Biden Is Totally Going To Be Veep Nominee

      Posted by Jeff from Wonkette

Let the eagle soar!Let’s review the list of people who will not be Barack Obama’s running mate: Hillary Clinton, because she would poison him; Jack Reed, because he isn’t interested; Tim Kaine, because of the eyebrows; and Joan Allen, because of her rumored college sex orgy. Now there is only one human left on the planet who meets Barack Obama’s stringent requirements of gravitas, foreign policy chops, and hair plugs…

      It’s Joe Biden!

Biden has been in office for 400 zillion years serving the pirate state of Delaware. He ran fairly convincingly for president once before he was felled by a plagiarism scandal that people would probably just yawn at today and be like, “Get back to us when you have a half dozen illegitimate children, a couple felony convictions, and an underage boyfriend in Cuba.” Yes, his hairline has grown suspiciously more lush with age, and yes, he does have a tendency to run on sometimes, but he also has a decent sense of humor and seems like an OK dude.

We mention this because when Barack Obama sends you a sexy text message this week saying, “I LOLZ JOE BIDEN,” you will not be so shocked.

EXCLUSIVE: FAA Tapes Reveal Drama of Obama Jet Incident

Posted by Jeff from ABC News

The incident involving Sen. Barack Obama's campaign plane last month was much more serious than the airline or the Federal Aviation Administration said, according to FAA control tower tapes obtained by ABC News. Just 41 seconds after discovering he no longer had full control of the plane's up and down movements, the pilot told an FAA air traffic controller "at this time we would like to declare an emergency and also have CFR [crash equipment] standing by in St. Louis."

I also agreed completely with Nathalie’s initial remark. Everything I said can be verified, as well. Polling provides data that needs to be taken with a large grain of salt. Questions are very carefully worded and sometimes the samples are carefully fudged.

Of course, the results are equally carefully interpreted.

As far as the other remarks, well… Since all expressions of political opinion are "partisan attacks" then yes, that’s what it was.

I made an unaligned observation, whose content can be verified. Koroth made a partisan attack with no substantiation other than "I believe."

Very true, however Zogby is more reliable than polls from the news agencies. CBS in particular, I believe, does very poor polling.

That McCain is pulling ahead of Obama, despite the love affair (and resulting free publicity) of the press for Obama really shows how lacking in substance Obama really is.

I’m sure CNN and the others will do their best to overcome that issue.

You can’t trust the Zogby polls because their methodology includes self-selected participants.  Always consider others when assessing.

Liberal bloggers want to say 'bye' to Bayh

Ya know, it seems to me that if Obama’s talkings about bringing people together was anything other than total BS he’d grab a staunch conservative as Veep. The Veep would have no power, beeing a Veep, but would probably grab quite a few votes from McCain.

It’d probably make for some intererest discussions on the Oval Office.

Dana Milbank quits Olbermann over disputed Obama quote

I agree. Have you ever read Michael Chrichton’s book Airframe? it has a subplot in which the media take a few facts way out of context in their desire to get the killer story.

Woldn’t it be nice to read a newspaper and believe that the front page articles weren’t editorials? I used to believe that, a long time ago. Thank goodness for the rise of the alternatives.
