  The Bush administration is closing down the Office of the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction which has consistently exposed corrupt practices. Blame it on some obscure clause sneaked into a military spending bill terminating the auditor's work. It’s like Dilbert. Got a problem with the project? Fire the auditor.

- Stock options backdating: six degrees of separation

  The Securities and Exchange Commission is now examining whether directors who sit on more than one company board may have spread the practice of backdating stock-option grants with research showing that 40 per cent of the companies under scrutiny have common directors. This is all part of the “six degrees of separation” theory of corporate governance.

  Is SOX good for business? Critics say its costly, over-taxing and a complete waste of time. The first two claims about Sarbanes-Oxley from smaller companies are not completely without foundation. A new study from MIT Sloan School of Management has found that firms with sound internal controls have a lower cost of capital. In other words, SOX might be good for business

I am currently doing a paper for school on the lives of inmates and the lives of guards. This letter from prrisoner X is rather interesting and i was wondering if there was anymore? is he still in prison? and do u know if there are any other articles that will help me in my research. Thank-you
