      C-SPAN Demands Sites Censor Colbert Videos

      Political comedy often is intended to stir controversy, but this doesn't usually involve broadcasting rights and the public affairs network C-SPAN. The cable network told two internet video providers, YouTube and Ifilm, to pull clips of Stephen Colbert's April 29 performance at the White House Correspondents Association dinner from their websites as it offended the sensibilities of Bush.

      The USDA on Iraq: Everything's Coming Up Rosy

      This is possibly the most desperate thing I’ve seen the administration do with regard to Iraq. It’s a completely shotgun approach that will fool no one, but the administration is so desperate it looks like they really don’t care. At least they can say they tried to get people hooked on Iraq good news through U.S. argiculture talk.
