      Robert Henderson was not fired as a state trooper because he belonged to the Ku Klux Klan and another white supremacist group, authorities said. Instead, he was ousted because he could not uphold public trust while participating in such groups, they said.

      Half of Virginians question whether 'Macaca' is racist

      A survey conducted among residents of Virginia found that while most disapproved of Republican Senator George Allen calling an Indian-American 'Macaca,' close to half felt it was not a racial slur... Mike Maloy was actually saying the other night that Virginians would view his slur as a positive. Sad.
