  I’m not exactly sure why Gary Busey was at the Oscars. He hasn’t been nominated for anything in a 100 years. He did provide one of the more entertaining moments on the red carpet however when he suddenly grabbed a very stunned Jennifer Garner and kissed her during an interview with Ryan Seacrest.

  Former Illinois Gov. George Ryan, promoted as a Nobel Peace Prize candidate for his vigorous opposition to capital punishment, was sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison on Wednesday for corrupt dealings while in office. The veteran Republican politician who spent 36 years in state government maintained his innocence throughout the trial.
