BAE: the scandal that won't go away

      Posted by SoxFirst

The US Department of Justice is about to launch a criminal probe into the world's fourth largest arms dealer, BAE, over its corrupt dealings with Saudi Arabia. Bad for BAE, which is trying to make the Pentagon its biggest customer, and bad for Gordon Brown who takes over from Tony Blair as British PM.

There’s more on this in the blogosphere. Crooks and Liars has partial transcript of a CNN interview. Think Progress also has more details.

Hersh has a good track record at accurate off-the-record reporting. The article is an in-depth analysis, not a quick off-the-cuff assertion.
