America is rotting from the inside

      Posted by VincebusEruptum from Scholarsandrogues

Politicians are failing to comprehend the breadth of the US infrastructure crisis. • Pillaged MySpace Photos Show Up in Massive BitTorrent Download

      Posted by Jeff from Wired

The creator of the file says he compiled the photos earlier this month using the MySpace security hole that Wired News reported on last week. Mercenary Outfit Send Mass Email Offering Positions in the Wake of Gustav

One of the many tragedies of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina three years ago was the fact that insurance companies used the event to systematically deny claims, leaving victims further in desperate straits. That shouldn’t happen following any natural disaster, and even though the immediate storm effects did not cause as much damage as predicted, there are sure to be plenty of claims for flood damages throughout the Midwest and along Gustav’s path. If you or someone you know has been denied an insurance claim related to Gustav: http://www.gustav-insurance-claim-denials.com/ that would be a site you should visit.
