  Sure, they're entertaining and fun, but the NBA SuperSonics and other franchises are businesses. Why can't they pay their own way? A Seattle neighborhood activist advocates spending taxpayer money instead on essential services — for people in need.

  I knew Berger the week off last week - I didn't know it was because our ActionStudio petition wrote his column for him :) It's great to see such fun creative responses to an issue of public corruption - Howard Schulz and the billionaires wanting money for the Sonics and Trailblazers.

  Wow - billionaires looking for handouts all over the Northwest. Let's hope Oregon tells them to shove it. Of course, Oregonians were stupid enough to pass the property rights initiative that will lead to widespread development and environmental decline.
