    • I Apologize to the Public

      Posted by Jeff from Cityroom.blogs.nytimes

I have acted in a way that violated the obligations to my family and that violates my — or any — sense of right and wrong. I apologize first, and most importantly, to my family. I apologize to the public whom I promised better.

Spitzer's demise is Wall Street's gain

The creation of the Term Securities Lending Facility, lending $200 billion of Treasury securities for 28 days IRS/FBI discovery of George Fox aka Client #9 aka Governor Eliot Spitzer aka Sheriff of Wall Street = a great day on the market. The only logical reasoning behind the full-fleged outing of Spitzy. The FED plays hardball.
