      Terrorism 2.0

      Posted by okami from Spacewar

Terrorism and wars of the future won't be fought outdoors but from the comfort of our own homes, behind our computer screens. With cyberattacks on the rise and gaining in destructive capability, the threat to the international community is beyond current regulations and defense mechanisms, a panel of experts said last week.

    • Rigged Trials at Guantanamo

Posted by okami from Truth Out

The litany of complaints about the legal treatment of prisoners at Guantánamo Bay is long, disturbing and by now familiar. Nonetheless, a new wave of shock and criticism greeted the Pentagon's announcement on February 11 that it was charging six Guantánamo detainees, including alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, with war crimes - and seeking the death penalty for all of them.

    Anthrax suspect Ivins commits suicide

This story is very suspicious … the neocons seem bent on sweeping this one under the rug before the administration changes. The alleged ‘suicide’ is most convenient and the lack of any real facts around this case smells pretty bad …

The ‘Justice" Department is run by who?  And who appointed him? And who were the targets of the anthrax attacks  ...  Democrats and Tom Brokaw, in case you’ve all forgotten.

The anthrax scare was created as an excuse to install mail surveillance.  When Hatfill wouldn’t fall they pinned it on Ivins.  The horrible harassment Ivins endured is classic NSA / CIA tactics to discredit, disgrace and destroy.
