  In his all-but-forgotten Watergate memoir, "At That Point in Time," Thompson said he acted with "no authority" in divulging the committee's knowledge of the tapes, which provided the evidence that led to Nixon's resignation.

  Former Deputy Attorney General Larry Thompson who wrote the memo the memo that underpinned the policy used to prosecute scandal-plagued corporations has conceded the prosecutors have gone too far and that it will probably need revising. Just goes to show that playing with attorney-client privilege is dangerous stuff.

I want someone to ask Fred if he thinks Muslims should be pre-emptively rounded up to prevent another terror attack. I think he might say yes.
