U.S. highway deaths on the rise

Perhaps as the stressors increase in peoples lives, such as domestic and foriegn issues, more and more individuals may be turning to prescription sleep medications. Which in turn may impair cognitive function during waking hours. The prescription sleep enhancer drug Ambien has been directly related to an increase in auto accidents in the US. It has been reported that there is a direct increased correlation between auto accidents and Ambien users as traces of the drug has been found in an increasing amount of drivers involved in auto accidents . I'm stunned that the article did not address the Prescription drug issue. But then again, that would go against the major players of the Pharm Co Industry and our current Administration's sense of loyalty towards them. Please see articles below that provide stats as they relate to Auto accidents and the prescription drug, Ambien. It may further explain the increase in the number of overall accidents in the US. Just my opinion.
