      Flights in the U.S. were late more than 26 percent of the time last year, a slightly better performance than in 2000, when airlines were tardy 27.4 percent of the time. The federal government began collecting airlines on-time data in 1995.

      Making Travel More Ethical

      As someone who travels a fair amount, I want to stay in hotels that treat their workers well, pay them a decent wage, and don’t prevent them from organizing. I'm also acutely aware that the vast majority of hospitality workers, and virtually all hotel housekeepers, are women. Here are a few things I didn't know (and that you may not be aware of, either).

      Sex on a plane? Not if airline can help it

      The carrier said it would ask passengers on the A380 to refrain from sex while ensconced in one of its 12 first-class suites, which boast the world's first airborne double beds. Clearly, the airlines want to keep their monopoly on screwing you when you fly!
