Battlestar Galactica Gets a Finale Date

      Posted by Jeff from Blog.wired

The final episodes of riveting sci-fi show Battlestar Galactica will begin airing Jan. 16, 2009, according to Sci Fi Channel. Presumably the second half of Season 4 will pick up where the first half's shocking cliffhanger left off. The season, and the series, will end March 20, according to the press release. Presumably we'll know who (or what) the final Cylon is by then.

    • Reality TV ethics: guess what? I'm not really dying.

      Posted by SoxFirst

Producers of a Dutch reality TV show are claiming the moral high ground by saying a program where a terminally ill woman would select one of three patients to receive her kidneys was actually a hoax. All designed to attract public attention to organ donors, they say. But the ethics still suck bug time.

    • Reality TV's new ethical low

      Posted by SoxFirst

In their desperation to shock the world, reality TV producers have always breached codes of ethics. But now they’ve hit a new low by screening a program where a terminally ill woman will select one of three patients to receive her kidneys. Reality TV turns into a snuff movie.

      I'm The Apprentice

Right now everything is a bit overwhelming, but in a fun way. I’m sure as we progress on the golf course development, it will be less of a shock. The big change for me has been going from being a trial attorney to being a project manager for Mr. Trump, which has been kind of a 180-degree flip...

The Angry Planet's Happy Storm Chaser

      Posted by Orato

If all hell is breaking loose, George Kourounis isn't far behind. In fact, he's usually hot on the trail of the world's most destructive natural disasters and storms, as he makes his living on Mother Nature's fury. He is a storm chaser and host of the Outdoor Life Network's Angry Planet. When he's not busy putting himself in a hurricane's path, you may find him climbing an erupting volcano or weathering a tropical storm. But George says a beautiful tornado is the icing on the cake.

    24 sucks

Although the torture plots in this season of 24 have been ridiculous and repetitive…the whole plot rides from one capture and torture scene to the next … I will say that they do a decent job of raising issues such as African-American presidents and culture conflicts between muslim and non-muslim communities.
