    • Sixth severed foot found in Campbell River

      Posted by Jeff from Canada

"Oh my God, this is close to home. It just makes you think something is going on in this area," said Malone. "Obviously people are losing their feet, they've got to be dying somewhere." Yes, you could say that... you could have said that at three feet.

      Life In Gaza: Contemplating Coffee

      Posted by robynoratocom

Gazan blogger Heba Z took a break from writing because she was starting to lose faith that it would change anything, and in her words, no one was listening anyway. It was a simple cup of coffee restored her faith in humanity. Read her story - and let her know you're listening.

    • Remembering YSL: An Icon

      Posted by eva

I remember when I was a teenager, someone gifted me some miniature samples of Rive Gauche, Opium, Paris, designer fragrances from Yves Saint Laurent, and if I shut my eyes I can still recall those fragrances, and to this day Opium remains one of my favorite fragrances in the world! Yves Stain Laurent or YSL died on 1 June 2008 bringing into sharp focus his incredible contribution of the world of fashion in a career spanning many decades.

Maybe we should just set Bush and Cheney adrift on the last ice flow.

How Google Earth is Trying to Wipe Israel Off the Map

No offense, but this entry is nonsense.  So is pretending that indigenous Palestinian Arabs do not exist and have no right to exist in thier own ancestral lands.  If the Ashkenazim can morally make a claim to a territory they departed in 70 CE due to European invasion and colonialisation, then all other displaced peoples, including North American Aboriginals, should be accorded the very same rights.

New satellite photos show Amazon deforestation exploding

This story is very disheartening. I wish we could send our military down to help Brazil protect the Amazon (rather than having them bogged down in Iraq).

Inteligentaindigena Indigenismo : Real Truth Online: Vincent Bugliosi Wants Bush Charged with Murder

Bugliosi is no Shakespear, he writes as though he is addressing a jury. And he is… us. However, Geogre Bush’s deeds speak for themselves for the most part, all Bugliosi has to do is lay them out. And he does…clearly.

Let us hope that there are some attorneys out there that still have some faith in the legal system and will work to prove Bugliosi’s case true or false.
