Capitol Hill slaying has sent many women to self-defense class

Tilsen said her office has received an avalanche of calls from people wanting safety tips and enrollment information since Harps' unsolved killing. Six people took the monthlong course last fall. That same class is over capacity with 27 students this winter, and another class was added to meet demand.
